Melissa is a legal researcher with experience working in private legal practice and in community legal centres. She works at the Melbourne School of Government providing research support to Professor John Howe in areas relating to labour law, as well as assisting across a broad range of projects undertaken by the School of Government. Melissa is the Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Labour Law and the Administrator of the Labour Law Research Network. She is also completing a PhD where her research is focused on whether criminalisation is appropriate as part of a regulatory response to wage theft.
